Path of VO celebrates voice actress Melique Berger for her latest standout role as Gym Leader Ryme in the English dub of Pokémon Horizons. A legendary talent in voice acting, Melique has spent decades elevating Black representation in animation and video games, with credits ranging from Cowboy Bebop to The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors.
In this new role, Berger brings both power and presence to Ryme of Paldea, a formidable gym leader who challenges main character Roy on his Pokémon journey.
